The NCAA Tournament Committee selected three teams from Kansas for the 2014 tournament. The Wichita State Shockers get a number one seed in St. Louis. Assuming a first round win, Wichita plays either Kansas State or Kentucky. Then it is on to Indianapolis and a potential rematch with Louisville, last year’s NCAA champion. Number 2 seed Kansas matches up against Eastern Kentucky, then either New Mexico or Stanford.
Kansas State with a 20-12 record should give Kentucky a run for the money.
The University of Kansas will join Wichita and Kansas State in St. Louis for the first round of games.
